- Holiday Automotive Cruise In - Cruise Out
Holiday Automotive Fond du lac, Wi
Fellow Car Enthusiast,
Holiday Automotive's 2nd Annual Cruise-In/Cruise-Out Car Show. We had so much fun last year with over 400 guests, over 250 show cars, and a nostalgic cruise down Main Street that we decided to do it again. We appreciate all of the constructive feedback from our 2019 event and hope that you like the changes we've made with your input. One common recommendation was "more pre-show info" (full disclosure: we had no clue what we were doing last year, so if there was pre-show info we'd have loved to hear it, too!).
SPACE: The City of Fond du Lac was kind enough to grant us a permit to close Rickmeyer Drive so we can spread out across the lot and into the street to safely accommodate more show vehicles and spectators without outside traffic.
FOOD: Jeff Korneli and his team will be back; selling Bob's Pizza as well as burgers and brats. CASH ONLY
TREATS: Dessert is on us again this year; another local favorite that will surely be a welcome treat on a warm, summer evening (while supplies last).
DRINKS: We'll have plenty of bottled water and canned soda for you; also on us at no charge.
BEER: New this year will be the Fond du Lac Blue Line Club beer trailer. Purchase beer, hard seltzer and wine coolers and support this great local non-profit organization. Look for the Bob's Pizza giant 6-pack trailer. CASH ONLY
DASH CARD: Please pre-print a dash card if you'd like one (attached). Some of this year's changes are to prevent lines and congregating too close.
PARKING: Show cars will enter the main Budget Center entrance off of Rolling Meadows Drive and the welcome team will point you in the right direction. Please be patient with us, we don't have it dialed-in like the team at Miller Park! Please try not to come before 4:15 so we can get the road closed-off properly.
CRUISE: The cruise route map is attached. Chad Guell, Budget Center General Manager will lead us out. The cruise will line up at about 8:00 pm and exit the Budget Center main driveway onto Rolling Meadows Drive and end at Lakeside Park, where you're free to stay or scatter from there. Non-cruisers will hopefully be able to sneak out from Rickmeyer Drive.
BATHROOM FACILITIES: We will have an air-conditioned bathroom trailer across the lot to supplement the three restrooms in the Budget Center (more good feedback). Those entering the bathroom trailer or the Budget Center facility will be required to wear a mask if medically capable. You know the covid guidelines and rules by now so we won't go through those here. Please be smart, safe and respectful of each other's personal space.
SPECTATOR PARKING: Non-show vehicles will enter the main Holiday Ford entrance off of Rolling Meadows Drive and we'll have plenty of space cleared adjacent to the show.
ENTERTAINMENT: Gregg Owens from Sunny 97.7 FM will be here playing your favorite road-trip tunes! He'll also be broadcasting live from the event.
